‘how they grow, where they fall’ is made together with found fallen leaves. Improvising a cameraless approach in the traditional darkroom, light falling through leaves reacts with light-sensitive paper and records the magnification of leaves.
Detailed and abstract at once, the unique silver gelatin prints are reminiscent of ink marks. They become traces left behind by a series of natural interactions with each leaf.
